It may be February, but we're still reminiscing about Tomorrow Never Knows, the annual winter music festival that presents five days of performances from rising acts at venues like Schubas, Lincoln Hall and Metro. We saw some great bands at the festival, including St. Louis-based indie rockers American Wrestlers, a group that started as the solo project of frontman Gary McClure. Originally from Scotland, McClure began recording the songs that make up American Wrestlers' self-titled debut shortly after moving to the United States to marry his girlfriend (who now plays keyboard in the band).

Time Out Chicago teamed up with Audiotree, a Chicago-based music company that records and streams live performances by some of the best musicians around, to celebrate its 600th Audiotree Live session. Music editor Zach Long (that's me!) hosted the session and spoke with American Wrestlers about the group's distinctive sound and the story behind its wild cover art. Now you can watch a video of American Wrestlers' performance, which includes renditions of songs like "I Can Do No Wrong" and "Holy." If you like what you hear, you should check out some of the other sessions in the Audiotree archive—there's a good chance you'll discover your new favorite band.
