On Saturday, May 2, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will square off for the World Boxing Association welterweight title in a fight that has been more than six years in the making. Coverage of the fight will begin on HBO and Showtime at 8pm, and pay per view rates are starting at $99.99. There's no reason why anyone should have to pay that much to see a couple of middle-age dudes hit one another in the face. Here's a list of places around town where you can see the fight.

Beard & Boxing at Rockit Bar and Grill Friends of James Beard is hosting a benefit for the foundation's scholarship and culinary programs. Rockit will be showcasing its new menu, and selections will be made available from a variety of restaurants, including The Duck Inn, Bottlefork, Sunda, and Ay Chiwowa7pm–3am. $125.

Deuce's & the Diamond Club You're likely to see a fight break out in Wrigleyville whether or not there is a nationally televised boxing match happening. 7pm. $40.

Estate Ultra Bar You can reserve a table to watch the fight at Estate starting at $200, which includes a bottle. General admission includes first come, first serve seating and taco bar access until 10pm. 9pm. $20–$500.

Joe's Bar Head over to the bar on Weed Street for some cheap beers and a rooftop. If there's anything place perfect for screaming "knock him out," it's a roof. 8pm. $45.

Old Town Pour House Sip on a pair of high-alcohol beers all night and try to stay standing longer than the fighters. Old Town Pour House will be serving Hercules from Great Divide Brewing and La Trappe Quadrupel from De Koningshoeven, both of which are 10 percent ABV. 7pm. $40.

Patron's Hacienda If standing around for hours to watch a 30-minute fight sounds fun, then Patron's is your best bet. The bar serves 50 different kinds of tequila, which should help numb your weary legs. 8pm. $30. Standing room only.

Portage Theater One way to guarantee a seat while watching Mayweather vs. Pacquiao is to head to a place with a lot of chairs. The Portage Park venue also serves reasonably priced alcohol, which should go really nicely with a comfy seat and human aggression. 7pm. $12.

Rocks North Center Rocks is a step up from your stereotypical sports bar, and they're showing the fight for free. Get there early if you'd like any chance of grabbing a table. 6pm. Free.
