This Roscoe Village baby shop has a focus on the artistic. Owner Rachel Glasson and her team are experts in nursery design, and the showroom displays just a fraction of the creativity they have. Great artwork, unique furniture and fun baby gifts are just some of what you'll find at this cute baby shop.

Smart and stylish Lincoln Park parents have shopped for their little fashionistas at this resale store for more than 20 years, sorting through gently worn kids’ wear to score finds from Baby Lulu, Oilily and Chip & Pepper, plus maternity wear, toys and furniture on consignment. Be forewarned, though: Just because it’s used doesn’t mean it’s cheap.

Known for its California-casual attire, Splendid has opened its first stand-alone store in the city. When we stopped by the Southport location, we fell in love with the colorful maxi dresses; long-sleeve, easy-to-layer tops; and amazingly chic handbags. The bright and airy boutique also sells shoes, jackets and more. If you have little ones, don't bypass the stylish kid selection.

This San Francisco native, as the name suggests, focuses on everything baby that is also all-natural and organic. You'll find everything from furniture and artwork to baby clothes, sippy cups and plates. The store also holds a variety of baby-oriented classes like music with Mr. Dave and Jitterbugs movement.

Sorry boys, but it's tween and teen girls only at this upscale boutique in Lincoln Park. The selection is a little pricey but you'll find stuff here that won't be stocked in any other spot across town. The shop has even dressed famous first daughters, Malia and Sasha.

A cute little neighborhood shop with a curated selection of baby, infant and toddler clothing with brands like Joah Love and Tea Collection. Of course, it wouldn't be a shop for kids without at least a small selection of toys, games and other entertaining accessories.
