Every day at 1pm, workers at the museum treat kids and adults to a live feeding of the resident critters. Hands-on interactive displays on marsh and river ecosystems engage kids at this Lincoln Park museum, while the thousand fluttering beauties of the 2,700-square-foot Judy Istock Butterfly Haven appeal to all ages.
Bring the little ones to Garfield Park Conservatory every Wednesday evening, year-round, for a chance to get up close and personal with the natural world. Starting in May, everyone gets their hands dirty outdoors in the Play and Grow Garden. Kids must be accompanied by an adult (at least one adult per five children).
