Lollapalooza 2015, Friday: Faces in the crowd

Huge crowds gathered to see Paul McCartney, The Weeknd and Alt-J during day one of Lollapalooza 2015

Once again, Lollapalooza began with the strongest single-day lineup of the weekend, bringing the flower-crowned and tank-topped masses to Grant Park. The evening ended with sets from the Weeknd and Flying Lotus, but no one could compete with the draw of headliner Paul McCartney, whose performance filled the south field with what was easily one of the festival's largest crowds to date.
