Grant Park was packed with music fans who came downtown for the second day of Lollapalooza on August 1, 2015.
Saturday at Lollapalooza was slightly less sweltering than the previous day, thanks to some constant cloud cover. After kicking off with lively sets from the likes of Django Django and Charli XCX, the energy at the festival never really dissipated throughout the afternoon. By the time Metallica and Sam Smith took the stage on opposite ends of the park, most fest-goers seemed worn out—we noticed hordes of people making a break for the exits around 9pm.
