Lou Barlow is a founding member of seminal indie rock outfit Dinosaur Jr. who was once kicked out the group, before rejoining the band in 2005. When he's not playing bass amid J Mascis' array of Marshall amplifiers, Barlow has released solo records as Sebadoh and under his own name. His latest, Brace the Wave, is a ramshackle collection of heartfelt acoustic tunes—a departure from the high-volume rock of his primary gig. San Francisco singer-songwriter Andrew St. James and LA folk rocker Paul Bergmann open the show. This concert is part of the Tomorrow Never Knows festival.
