It's cliché to say that Ty Segall is prolific, but his output over the past year speaks to just how many of his ideas become realized in a studio. In 2018, Segall put out his 10th full-length album, Freedom’s Goblin, as well as records made in collaboration with GØGGS and White Fence. The West Coast garage-rocker comes to Thalia Hall for a rare solo acoustic set in support of his covers album, Fudge Sandwich, which includes fuzzed-out interpretations of tracks by Neil Young, the Grateful Dead, Sparks and more. Performing in the round, he'll be joined by L.A. guitarist William Tyler, who singlehandedly creates cosmic instrumental compositions with his insturment of choice.
