Virtual Chosen Few DJs Picnic and Festival

In 1990, a group of Chicago house DJs and a small group of friends gathered in Jackson Park for an impromptu concert. Today, the Chosen Few DJs (Wayne Williams, Jesse Saunders, Tony Hachett, Alan King, Andre Hatchett, Terry Hunter and Mike Dunn) spin tracks for thousands of fans each summer at a festival and picnic—this year it will all be happening virtually. During the nine-hour live stream, the Chosen Few will be joined by guests like comedian, actor, and DJ Deon Cole; house music vocalist Byron Stingily; and singer-songwriter Carla Prather. Find some room for a makeshift dance floor and spend the Fourth of July grooving to the beats.
