Time Out says

On the heels of the release of the covers album Candid, which applies a gentle folk-rock touch to tunes by the likes of David Byrne, John Denver and Kelela, Whitney is coming to the drive-in. Max Kakacek, Julian Ehrlich and the rest of the band will headline the Lakeshore Drive-In theater in the Adler Planetarium's parking lot, marking the act's first public performances in Chicago since a five-night stand at Thalia Hall last December. And if the group's jubilant set at Pitchfork Music Festival 2019 is any indication, you can expect a few notable local musicians to join them on stage.
