Indiana brewery 3 Floyds has been teasing a Chicago-based taproom for years, but we're still no closer to drinking the freshly brewed IPAs without having to cross state lines. While there's no update on a permanent location, the brewers behind the infamous Dark Lord Russian Imperial Stout will be taking over Emporium Popups in Logan Square this weekend.

The venue's latest popup is called Cimmerian Ark of Carcosa, inspired by Conan the BarbarianRaiders of the Lost Ark and Dungeons and Dragons. Decorated with skeletons, samurai armor and antlers, the temporary concept will serve a menu of 3 Floyds beers, including Alpha King, Space Station Middle Finger and Zombie Dust. The pop-up opens on Friday, August 10 and will stick around until Sunday, August 26.

Throughout Cimmerian Ark of Carcosa's residency at the pop-up venue, the space will host some special events, including two rare beer nights on Thursday, August 16 and Wednesday, August 22 at 7pm, where attendees will be able to try some of 3 Floyds' most sought-after creations. The pop-up will also present a Dungeons and Dragons game night on Sunday, August 19 beginning at 8pm and a comic book signing featuring writer Brian Azzarello and 3 Floyds founder Nick Floyd on Thursday, August 23 at 7pm.

The Cimmerian Ark of Carcosa pop-up will be open Tuesday through Friday from 5pm to 2am, Saturday from 3pm to 3am and Sunday from 3pm to midnight.
