The former South Central Bank at 160 N Morgan Street has sat empty for the past year, but prior to the pandemic, the Fulton Market space became a popular spot for pop-ups—including a groovy Gucci shop and a showroom for Burrow couches. Later this month, the building will host Boochquarters, a conceptual co-working and event space conceived by locally-based, women-owned hard kombucha brand Luna Bay Booch Co. in collaboration with real estate developer Sterling Bay.

Beginning on July 19, the space will be open  to the public as a first come, first served co-working and meeting destination, outfitted with collaboration spaces for small groups, a coffee bar and quiet spaces to sit down with a laptop and get some work done. Boochquarters will come alive in the evenings, hosting a yet-to-be-announced lineup of events and programming, accompanied by Luna Bay Booch Co.'s lineup of hard kombucha beverages, which are made with Yerba Mate tea, fresh fruits and herbs.

If you're itching for peek inside the bright white building decorated with bright paintings of fruit, you can snag tickets to the grand opening of the Luna Bay Boochquarters on Saturday, July 17 from 1–6pm. Guests will be among the first to experience the pop-up's custom bar and lounge area, while checking out a lineup of Luna Bay merch and taking part in a variety of kombucha-themed photo opportunities. Plus, the La Cocinita food truck will be serving snacks from 1–3pm and DJ Jillian will spin tunes from 3-6pm. Tickets (which include two cans of Luna Bay Booch Co. hard kombucha) are available via Tock for $15.

When it begins welcoming guests later this month, Boochquarters will be open from 7am–5pm on weekdays and 7am–8pm on weekends (just be aware that hours are subject to change). The pop-up is currently scheduled to remain in the Fulton Market space through the end of 2021, with programming scheduled through the end of the year. Keep an eye on the Luna Bay Booch Co. Instagram account for announcements about events and additional programming in the coming weeks.
