Craving some tropical vibes during a Chicago winter that has brought single-digit temperatures and black ice to the city? There are plenty of Chicago cocktail bars that can take your mind to a warmer climate—Three Dots & A Dash, Secret Sound at Time Out Market Chicago and the soon-to-be-departed Lost Lake, to name a few. But you'll have soon have one additional option: A Miami cocktail bar that's popping up inside of Soho House during Chicago's coldest months.

Sweet Liberty Cocktail Bar is bringing some of the same drinks it serves in South Beach to Soho House Chicago's ground-level bar, decorating the space with an origami flower installation, a nine-foot-tall feet palm tree and a neon sign that reads, "‘pursue happiness." There's also a custom DJ booth (designed by Zac Hall), where local selectors will spin Latin, funk and deep house music throughout the pop-up's residency.

Much of the pop-up's menu is made up of drinks that Sweet Liberty serves at its original South Beach location, including the Florida Cocktail made with Bacardi Añejo Cuatro, lime, pineapple and crème de menthe, as well as the Dope AF Lychee Martini, which features the tender tropical fruit. Those look for a boozy pick-me-up can sample a piña colada made with three types of rum, pineapple, coconut cream and Jamaican coffee.

Just like Soho House Chicago's Fox Bar, the Sweet Liberty pop-up will be open to the general public, so you won't need a Soho House membership to stop by and grab a drink. You'll also be able to snag impossibly thin pies from Paper Thin Pizza to pair with your tropical drinks (available Wednesday through Saturday from 6–11pm).

The Sweet Liberty pop-up at Soho House will open on January 14 and will operate on a first-come, first-served basis through February 12. You can snag a table Tuesday through Thursday from 4–11pm, or Friday and Saturday from 4pm–midnight.
