Hungry Cubs fans and Wrigleyville revelers will get their very own Big Star this April, just in time for the home opener and sunny weather. The massive 9,000-square-foot restaurant is located inside the forthcoming Hotel Zachary (3640 North Clark Street) and boasts an 87-seat patio plus indoor seating for 383 guests, as first reported by Eater Chicago. There will also be an upstairs space that’s available for private events.

Big Star purists won’t be disappointed by the menu, which boasts all the usual suspects like tacos, guac, queso fundido and margaritas. Like its Wicker Park counterpart, the Wrigleyville location will get a taco takeout window later this summer (for those nights when you’re too tipsy to be seen in public).

The new outpost will also double as a performance space in order to “carry on Big Star’s legacy of fostering Chicago’s local artists and musicians,” according to a press release. Take a look at what the new Wrigleyville space will look like come April.
