Tonight, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra will begin a sold-out four-night run of performances of the score to Star Wars: A New Hope, synchronized to a screening of the 1977 sci-fi blockbuster. If you happened to be in a galaxy far, far away when tickets went on sale for the in-demand concerts, you'll have another chance to hear John Williams's classic fanfare and themes when the CSO performs the Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back soundtrack in November.

Tickets are on sale now for three screenings of the Star Wars sequel at Symphony Center, accompanied by a live performance of the score conducted by Richard Kaufman, on November 23, 24 and 25. The score includes several memorable compositions that have gone on to appear in subsequent films in the Star Wars saga, including "The Imperial March" and "Yoda's Theme."

Tickets range from $65 to $202 and are available via the CSO website, by phone at 800-223-7114 or at the Symphony Center box office at 220 S Michigan Avenue. Better act fast—these shows are likely to sell out in less than 12 parsecs.
