With the Chicago Pride Parade and many of the city's other annual Pride events on hold, people are finding creative new ways to celebrate the LGBTQ community throughout the month of June. Goose Island Beer Co. is doing its part by debuting a fierce new brew, developed through a collaboration with RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars contestant (and Chicago-native) Shea Couleé and DoStuff Media, which operates Chicago's Do312 website.

Housed in a bright pink and yellow can emblazoned with a sparkling goose sporting eyeliner, Shea Coul-Alé is a dry-hopped wheat ale with lemony notes and a low ABV (4.2 percent). Preorders for the drag-themed beer will open on June 3 through the Goose Island website, with pickup and delivery beginning on June 10 from Goose Island's Clybourn Brewhouse, Goose Island's Fulton Taproom and Replay in Andersonville.

A portion of profits from the fabulous beer will benefit TransTech Social Enterprises, a charity that was chosen by Couleé. The organization was founded by Pose actress and transgender rights activist Angelica Ross, and helps provide education, support, and jobs for trans people.

While you probably won't be able to enjoy a cold Shea Coul-Alé at a Chicago gay bar while taking in a drag show anytime soon, grabbing a few of the sparkling cans seems like a good way to add some flair to all of your socially-distanced Pride celebrations in June.
