Lettuce Entertain You is at it again, this time with the fourth iteration of the popular RPM Restaurants brand. RPM On The Water is slated to open next summer at 321 North Clark Street, sandwiched between River Roast and Marina Towers along the Chicago River. The restaurant, its adjoining events venue and a yet-to-be-named casual concept will occupy four floors of the riverfront skyscraper, offering prime water views and plenty of outdoor space.

The massive operation from celebrity couple Bill and Giuliana Rancic, Chicago chef Doug Psaltis and Lettuce siblings R.J., Jerrod and Molly Melman is part of a $50 million building upgrade. Appropriately, RPM On The Water "will focus on high-quality seafood... in addition to the exceptional wine program," Bill Rancic says in the press release. The events venue will take up an entire floor and provide space for small gatherings and 300-guest weddings and corporate events. The second restaurant, which hasn't been named yet, will take over the former Bridge House Tavern space, and we're hoping the sprawling riverfront terrace sticks around.

The four-story culinary complex will be a big-ticket opening for 2019 and a tremendous addition to the booming Chicago riverfront. We can already picture ourselves sipping rosé and slurping oysters on the patio.
