MatchaFest Chicago is already calling our name.

This spring, the world’s largest matcha festival is coming to the Windy City. On Saturday, May 16, SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview will transform into a lively, matcha-filled playground for a high-energy celebration of the ceremonial bright green beverage.

More than 200 vendors are expected to participate in the festival, bringing their creative takes on matcha from around the region and the country. You’ll find the classics like lattes and iced drinks, but also plenty of surprises. Matcha-infused snacks, sweets, coffee blends, skincare products and even art will all be part of the mix.

MatchaFest isn’t just about sipping and snacking, however. There will be wellness activations, interactive stations and immersive, hands-on activities designed to present the full scope of the matcha experience. And of course, plenty of photo ops.

The festival has already proven to be a smash hit in cities like Tampa, Orlando, Atlanta and Austin, where it drew crowds of more than 2,000 matcha fans. Chicago’s edition is expected to bring that same buzz, with a full day dedicated to matcha lovers and curious newcomers alike.

Tickets are already on sale, starting at $15 for general admission. If you want to level up, there's a VIP option that includes a limited-edition tote bag, 100 grams of premium matcha exclusive to VIP ticket holders, priority entry, line-skipping rights and parking.

If this sounds like your cup of tea, find out more and grab your tickets here.
