1. Legendary singer Mavis Staples headlines the Pritzker Pavilion on the final night of this year's Chicago Blues Festival, capping off a weekend of free performances in Millennium Park. The festival runs from 11am to 10pm today and admission is free.

2. The National Museum of Mexican Art explores nearly a century of cultural exchange between Chicago and Mexico in “Arte Diseño Xicágo,” exhibiting works made my Mexican immigrants who came to Chicago as well as Chicagoans who journeyed to Mexico. The museum is open from 10am to 5pm and admission is free.

3. The Chicago Children's Theatre hosts BOING! Festival, where kids can get airbrush tattoos, watch aerial circus acts or groove at a black light dance party. The fun goes from noon to 4pm and tickets are $10.
