1. Emporium Popups’ latest incarnation is a taco tournament of champions. Eight restaurants are facing off in this week’s Tequila Corralejo Taqueria Throwdown; stop by tonight between 6 and 9pm to taste tacos from Quiote and Old Habits at Ludlow Liquors and vote for your favorite. A $10 ticket gets you two tacos and a tequila cocktail.

2. See Portland, Oregon trio Unknown Mortal Orchestra play the Vic Theatre tonight. The band is touring behind its new album Sex and Food, with opening support from UK electronic producer Makeness. Doors open at 7pm, and tickets are $27.50.

3. This week is your last chance to see Lettie, a searing drama about a woman trying to restart her life after serving a prison sentence. The new play at Victory Gardens Theater features a powerful performanceby Caroline Neff in the title role, surrounded by a tight ensemble. Tonight’s performance is at 7:30pm, and tickets are $31–$56.
