1. Party like a "Rockstar" as hazy hip-hop wunderkind Post Malone performs at Northerly Island's Huntington Bank Pavilion, joined by collaborator 21 Savage. The concert begins at 7pm, and tickets are $20–$227.

2. The Millennium Park Summer Film Series kicks off this evening with a screening of John Waters' quirky 1988 comedy Hairspray, which follows a young dancer pursuing stardom on a ‘60s TV show. The film starts at 6:30pm in Pritzker Pavilion and admission is free.

3. Dance to classic and contemporary hip-hop spun by some of Chicago's top selectors at Timbuck2usedays, a weekly party at Beauty Bar that celebrates the legacy of late local DJ Timbuck2. The music starts at 10pm and cover is just $2.
