2. Inspired by the programmed beats and synthesized melodies of artists like Four Tet and Aphex Twin, UK trio GoGo Penguin finds the middle ground between electronica and jazz during a concert at Constellation. Tickets are $25 and the show starts at 8:30pm.
3. Dutch painter and illustrator Collin van der Sluijs brings his latest exhibition, “No Concessions,” to Vertical Gallery, showing large canvases that contrast detailed images of animals and people with dreamlike elements. Admission is free and the gallery is open from 11am to 6pm.
