When it comes to dressing like a head coach, Chicagoans have one undisputed go-to option: Mike Ditka. The sunglasses, sweater vest and bushy 'stache make for an iconic look. But now that the Bears are back in the playoffs, one Chicago suburb is searching for a more contemporary look. If you bear a resemblance to current head coach Ben Johnson, the Village of Bedford Park invites you to participate in their Coach Johnson Look-A-Like Contest.

The contest will take place tomorrow, January 8 from 5pm to 8pm at the Wintrust Sports Complex. Fans of all ages are welcome, creativity is encouraged and yes, there's real money on the line.

Costumes will be assessed as good, better and best, which will go home with a $1,000 Visa gift card to be used for post-season tickets, round trip transportation to and from a game from O'Hare-Midway Limousine service and free car washes for a year from Gas N Wash. Second place gets a $500 Visa card and free pizza for a year from Moretti's. Third place walks away with $300.

There will also be door prizes, raffle prizes, free parking and a complimentary buffet from Moretti’s. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

In less than three weeks, Chicago marks 40 years since the 1985 Bears beat the Patriots in Super Bowl XX (Giordano's is already celebrating with a special pizza). That team and Coach Mike Ditka are legendary, but Bedford Park wants to give the current coach his props. So start thinking beyond the sweater vest. Grab a clipboard and a headset, do your best to look calm and focused and help make Coach Johnson a thing.
