Today only, 7-Eleven loyalty members can get a glazed donut for $1 at all of the chain's locations and at Speedway and Stripes ones.

Dunkin'

Of course Dunkin' is giving away free donuts today. Here are the details: the promotion only includes "classic" versions of the treat, which will be distributed while supplies last to folks who purchase a beverage on site.

Fry the Coop

Not exactly a traditional offering, but certainly one worth mentioning: Fry the Coop and Stan's Donuts have teamed up for a one-day-only collaboration that is sure to knock your tasting buds off. Customers can purchase a croissant donut hot chicken sandwich at all Fry the Coop locations in Chicagoland for $6.70 today only.

Krispy Kreme

The popular donut chain is giving away one free donut per customer today while supplies last. No, you don't need to purchase anything else to redeem the goodie. Specialty and limited-time donuts are not included, so keep that in mind as well.

Stan's Donuts

With multiple locations across Chicago, Stan's Donuts wins for most creative offering: Customers will be treated to a free chocolate dipped donut with every purchase. If the offered sweet happens to be colored green inside, the recipient will win free coffee at the shop for a year. If the inside is pink, the customer will be treated to free donuts for a year.
