Time Out says

Before the West Loop became home to amazing restaurants, innovative bars, sprawling hotels and corporate headquarters, the area was a nightlife destination that hosted some of Chicago's hottest clubs. Located in the Mezzanine Gallery of Time Out Market Chicago, "Flyers Over Fulton" presents a collection of flyers, photos and other memorabilia from Fulton Market's club scene in the early ’90s—all presented in a socially-distanced setting.

Curated by former nightlife purveyors Michael Blatter and BJ Murray, the exhibit tracks the area's rise as a clubbing epicenter in the wake of the opening of Shelter in 1990. The display includes flyers touting sets from the likes of Daft Punk and Public Enemy as well as photos of local stars like Michael Jordan and Dennis Rodman enjoying a night on the town.

"Flyers Over Fulton" will host two free timed-entry opening receptions from 4 to 10pm on October 28 and 29, with Derrick Carter, Diz, Lady D, DJ Heather, Burt "Nonstop" Blanchard, Jeff Pazen and John Curley getting behind the turntables at Time Out Market Chicago to spin the sounds of the early ’90s. Stop by for a meal with a side of local nightlife nostalgia.
