Tour de Franks

Hop on a bike and visit seven of Chicago's finest hot dog stands during the annual Tour de Franks, which starts at the Vienna Beef Factory Store and winds all over the North Side. Participants will make stops at Red Hot Ranch, Gene's Sausage Shop, Hot 'G' Dog, Flub a Dub Chub's, Franks 'n' Dawgs and Fatso's Last Stand throughout the ride. It's free to participate, but you'll need to keep up with the pack and purchase your own sausages along the way—hopefully all that pedaling works up an appetite. An exclusive T-shirt (a riff on the classic Akira poster) is available for $20.
