Mud-slicked cars with huge engines and veteran drivers will be barrelling at top speed through the forests and villages surrounding the Croatian capital between April 20-23 as part of the 2023 FIA World Rally Championship. Setting off in competition two months ago in Sweden, some of the best teams in the world will be in top form to face Croatia's rolling hills and spring weather.

Zagreb is a favourite but also infamous course among rally enthusiasts for being one of the most challenging each year, with constantly changing road conditions and numerous jumps. In 2022, torrential rain soaked the course and led to nail-biting moments and several crashes. More than 300,000 are expected to line the routes this year and with the heavy rain the past few days in Zagreb, the racing is bound to be action-packed once again.

Spectator day tickets are 10, and four-day passes are 30. Don’t miss the ceremonial start in front of Croatian National Library at Hrvatske bratske zajednice 4.
