With summer finally coming to Zagreb, the city's restaurants open their terraces, venues gear up for outdoor concerts and the Food Truck Festival parks itself on the banks of Lake Jarun. Running from May 31 to June 18, the event brings great snacks, quality drinks and live music to the picturesque park in the capital's south west.
A wide range of eateries from around Zagreb will be represented here, offering classic street-food staples of burgers and beer to gourmet Adriatic dishes and much more. There seems to be a special X factor of tastiness in food served from a truck, so if you're looking for something to share with friends, accompanied with nice tunes in the shade, the Food Truck Festival is the place to be.
