Recently launched Norwegian no-frills carrier Flyr is including Zadar and Dubrovnik on its roster of destinations served from Oslo.

Travel-starved Scandinavians may currently book flights to Dalmatia for around 500Nkr/€50, with Zadar routes starting up in April and Dubrovnik in June. Services initially run twice weekly.

The announcement follows the news that KLM, new Italian airline ITA Airways and Spanish budget carrier Vueling will be flying to Dubrovnik from Amsterdam, Rome and Barcelona respectively. KLM and ITA also serve Split.

Flyr surprised many by launching during the pandemic-hit summer of 2021, first with domestic routes then Mediterranean destinations Nice, Alicante and Málaga. While following the no-frills model, the app-based airline also offers discounted tickets for 16-29 year olds to all destinations.
