Originally built as a walled settlement overlooking a trade road, today Zagreb's old town is filled with beautiful 18th- and 19th-century buildings. From tonight, Wednesday July 12, six courtyards around the historic neighbourhood will be transformed into an open-air party.
Running until July 23 from 6pm to midnight, the event allows visitors to catch a rare glimpse into interior gardens and courtyards otherwise closed to the public. With a nightly schedule of singers and musicians from across Croatia and Europe, Dvorišta, 'The Courtyards', is a great place to relax in the city this summer.
