Nestled in the wooded hills north of the city centre, Zagreb's prestigious Faculty of Fine Arts is opening its doors to the public this Saturday, May 13. For one day a year, you can walk through the ground's leafy statue garden, and explore the academy's paint-splattered halls and studios. Now in its 18th year, this annual student-run event intends to promote Zagreb's culture and arts scene, bringing the public and art world together.
This year's special events are totally free and include children's art workshops, a scavenger hunt and a line-up of local DJs and bands. You can also peruse student artworks that are on sale, and invest in Croatia's next Meštrović.
