Featuring two dozen films from across the globe, the latest series being screened at Zagreb's Kino Tuškanac explores the open road in celluloid. Running until July 30, the schedule includes the 1991 Gus Van Sant Henry IV adaptation My Own Private Idaho, Terrence Malick's atmospheric debut Badlands, the Yugoslav thriller H-8, and many more. 

Illustrated by a number of classic and cult road movies, the series delves into the loneliness, excitement, danger and soul-searching that often accompanies long journeys. All films are shown in their original language with Croatian subtitles. Screenings are 9pm, every day except Mondays. Tickets are €4 and can be bought in person only.
