Although it doesn’t have the unobstructed view of the river like other terraces and restaurants, Quitanda is on the riverside, inside the Paço d’Arcos Nautical Center. What makes the visit worth your while is really their raw material: there is a fish stand for all to see, where you have to go to choose what you want to eat. You can find large sea bream, 10 kg croakers, sea bass, groupers, sardines and horse mackerel. Everything from the sea, everything fresh, bought at various market stalls nearby.
