The name means “clandestine tavern”, but there’s no secret about it. You can even come near its window and order drinks on the street. A restaurant with Italian and Portuguese snacks (mostly cheese and sausage boards) by day, a bar by night. You can have dinner there, but getting a table isn’t easy and reservations are only accepted up to 7pm, so a lot of people just drop by Clandestina, as it is known, for a gin and tonic, a glass of Portuguese or Italian wine, a Super Bock or Peroni beer. You can also order the house cocktail, a mix of fruit juice, lemon, basil, ginger beer and gin.
