After more than a decade with no sales outlet in Portugal, last summer Osklen opened up at Cascais Marina. Osklen is known as one of the top minimalist fashion icons, and the boutique combines style and sustainability. Browse among menswear, women’s fashion, shoes and accessories. If you’re a fan of Made in Brazil, you can also drop in at Embaú, which stocks a number of well-known brands from across the South Atlantic.

Be We made its appearance in summer 2020, with a flair for design and good taste. At its first location in the centre of Cascais, it sold clothes, accessories, jewellery, perfumes and interior design accessories. It stocked a hand-picked selection of Portuguese and imported brands, always based on the idea of sustainability and good social practices. It had and still has Granado hand creams from Brazil, Portuguese fashion from +351 and La Paz and Happy Socks from Sweden. Only the address has changed, as it has moved to a whopping new 400 m2 shop all in glass in the new Náutico building across the road from the railway station.

Mafalda Amaral’s concept store is not very big but it stocks highly concentrated doses of cool brands that are always in perfect step with the seasons. From her own-brand fresh city wear to international brands like Komono and Paez, here’s your dream summer wardrobe.

If you will settle for nothing less than luxury, you’ve come to the right place. It has been in the Cascais area for more than 30 years. After years of representing international fashion brands, Mónica Durão has finally found her own place in Cascais town centre. And this is where she set up Invicta, a fashion and interior design boutique. Browse through casual clothes, accessories and party outfits and then have a look at some Portuguese ceramics. Something tells us that your summer holiday wardrobe could very well start here.

Maria Matos found a home for 2for1 Design when she opened D. Amélia Flower Bar. The small shop transports you to the fragrances of the countryside, full of flowers, many of them dried. Here they believe in seasonal products, many of which, including fruit, are preserved by Maria herself. There are always ready-made bouquets, although Maria prefers to create them on the spot to suit each customer’s taste.

The name is Cerâmicas na Linha, the nickname is crockery by the kilo. It started with just a few brands and leftover collections in Oeiras, but it’s been such a success that now has shops in Chiado (Lisbon), and in the heart of Cascais, near the Bay – with more and more factories selling to the shop. Almost everything is sold by weight, but there are pieces by the unit, such as Bordallo Pinheiro and Costa Nova crockery.

The original Leitão & Irmão dates back 200 years. The former jewellers to the Portuguese crown now have two shops in Lisbon and one in Estoril, which opened in 2016. They craft pieces by hand in gold and silver, inspired by antique and modern designs alike.
