Chronic Youth Film Festival 2024

This two-day film festival at the Barbican Centre is entirely programmed by young people aged 16 to 24. The organisers have chosen 'Out of Order' as this year's theme, which focuses on the various forms of 'transgressions and misdemeanours.' Highlights include ‘Gush, by indigenous video artist Foxy May, and is a DIY collage of May's personal, archival footage over the course of ten years. Also featured is Theo Montoya's 'Anhell69,' an award-winning depiction of queer life in Medellin, Colombia.
