Time Out says

Frogtown is full of free, family-friendly programming, from its First Fridays to its Artwalk, the Elysian Valley neighborhood’s artist-centric biennial. Luckily, this is an even-numbered year, which means the event is back in action. Walk along the river—or ride a free pedi-cab—and check out artwork by over 70 local artists in their studios and pop-up exhibitions. There will also be stages with live music and dance performances, food trucks and local vendors along the route. And new this time around is the L.A. River Art Parade, where you can dress up and show off your own creativity (6:30pm, sign up here). Note: Parking is notoriously tricky in Frogtown, so biking and rideshare are encouraged.
