Time Out says

If you think that’s an ordinary dresser, look again. This droopy reproduction is one of Kim Ye’s pieces from her new exhibition Immediate Surroundings, which aims to distort preconceived perceptions of common objects. The artist moved to America from Beijing and her two-and-three-dimensional works reflects her own struggles with assimilation.

Stop by the opening reception from 7pm-9pm on November 9th and then walk a block to Nobu for sushi and cocktails to round out a perfect date night.
