They say diamonds are a girl’s best friend, but these priceless gems are also steeped in history and culture. Diamonds Are Forever, a summer exhibition at the Museum of Ventura County, will shed light on history’s most famous diamonds and their royal owners. Scott Sucher, who is known for his exquisite diamond replicas—Beau Sancy, Koh-i-Noor, Orlov (all names of specific stones, of course)—will have his work showcased alongside historical figures courtesy of artist-historian George Stuart. From India to Paris to Africa, these precious stones have traversed the globe, each individual story a time capsule waiting to be unearthed. See the stones (replicas of course) and follow their histories at this one-of-a-kind sparkling exhibition.
