Donald Trump is banned from the Grove in Los Angeles

The Grove is often crowded, with residents and tourists alike flocking to the shopping destination for their fashion and entertainment needs, but it looks like there will be one less person among the crowd. TMZ caught up with Rick Caruso, founder and CEO of Caruso Affiliated, which owns the Grove and the Americana at Brand among other prominent real estate developments. On camera, Caruso is asked about Donald Trump and whether he would ever consider banning the Republican presidential nominee from the Grove. His answer? "I would actually be happy to do that. Yeah, that would probably be a good thing."

But he didn't stop there. He continues, "If you want to be in public office, you've gotta be compassionate, you've gotta be a gentleman, you've got to be professional, you've got to care about people. I just don't see him being any of that. I think he's actually a pretty angry human being, so I'm not into that." Burn.

You may be thinking that it's not too much of a shock that Trump wouldn't be welcome at a shopping mall in a mostly blue state and county, but the interesting twist here is that Caruso was once one of L.A.'s most predominate Republicans. Not to mention they are in the same business as real estate developers. An interesting development indeed—see what we did there? Check out the video below.
