Let the Fire Burn

This hard-hitting doc digs into the heated conflict between Black Power group MOVE and the city of Philadelphia, which came to a deadly head in 1985.  Authorities saw MOVE as a terrorist organization, and eventually approved police dropping explosives into the group's headquarters, killing 11 and destroying more than 60 homes. Director Jason Osder tells both sides' stories through found footage in a a gripping piece of forensic filmmaking that unfolds like a thriller. Let the Fire Burn will play for a week at the Nuart.
