Pixies front man Black Francis and co-collaborator Josh Frank, celebrate the release of their visually bold illustrated novel, The Good Inn, with a screening that is certain to raise the left eyebrow of more than a few movie-goers. Loosely based on historical events, Francis and Frank's book confronts the origins of pornographic cinema, an art that originated the very first moment that rolls of celluloid film could crank through a silent picture camera. Cinefamily present an evening of dramatic readings from The Good Inn, by special guest actors, in addition to a screened sampler of vintage silent erotica that will tickle even the most prudish of film buffs.
