Grab a bite of Jerusalem's culinary scene right here in Los Angeles. In celebration of Israel's 65th Independence Day, Suzanne Tracht is teaming up with two guest chefs from Jerusalem for a one-night collaborative dinner. Chefs Assaf Granit and Uri Navon hail from the celebrated Machneyda restaurant in Jerusalem and will be laying the table out with some of their best plates: sea fish tartare, shikshukit, cooked minced beef and lamb in Mediterranean spice, calamari with dates, honey and porcini mushrooms and a roasted aubergine with tahini yogurt. The Meditterean feast will be benefiting Ultimate Peace, a summer camp in Israel that unites Jewish and Arab youth with Ultimate Frisbee.
