Tasty Reads at the Getty

Beloved by listeners literary and otherwise, the public radio series Selected Shorts hits the Getty for a weekend feast of live readings and performances centered on the topic of food. The storytelling spread will feature tales on romance, family, mystery, adventure and more; and whether they transpire around a family dinner table or amidst a mad hatter's tea party, the stories confront the theme of food as voraciously as the narrative surrounding it. With an elite lineup including Jane Kaczmarek, Michael Imperioli, Christopher Lloyd, Joshua Malina, Catherine O'Hara, Christina Pickles and Amber Tamblyn, the delicous affair is not to be missed. Admission costs $35, and appropriately guarantees access to a spattering of small bites, as well as a special drink tailored to each performance.
