Time Out says

Romero’s belated sequel to Night of the Living Dead gives the material a satirical spin, frequently dispensing with the gore in order to poke fun at consumer culture. (The heroes have barricaded themselves in a shopping mall.) Many of Romero’s fans consider this even better than the original. See for yourself at this rare Halloween Cinespia screening, held at LA's oldest (and supposedly most haunted) movie palace. In addition to the celluloid itself, expect a DJ, full bar, themed photo booth and a handful of zombies.
