Nuart Fest

The nearly half-century-old art house cinema launches its first film fest filmed with previews of upcoming films, plus nods to its midnight movie past. Nuart Fest includes screenings and appearances from The Decline of Western Civilization III director Penelope Spheeris, Pink Flamingos actor Mink Stole (as well as a pre-screening Drag Queen Bingo), Real Life writers Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story director Eric Appel, The Civil Dead directors Clay Tatum and Whitmer Thomas, and Sins O’ the Flesh, the resident Rocky Horror Picture Show shadow cast.
