Summer of Love: 1990s Romances

The Academy Museum is slipping into a comfy pair of sweatpants this summer as it revisits romance movies from the 1990s. The two-month program includes a mix of deep cuts and fan favorites, with a mix of comedies and slightly more doom and gloom fare (expect tears in either case, really). Picks include Jerry Maguire, Clueless, But I’m a Cheerleader, Love Jones, Before Sunrise, Sleepless in Seattle and Romeo + Juliet, among others.
