Part of the first wave of electroclash in the late 1990s, Adult is a Detroit husband-and-wife duo whose dark, intense and flickery electronica soundtracked many a sweaty, early-hours LA bump and grind. They hadn't come out with a full album of new material since 2007's Why Bother? until last year, when they released their unsettlingly catchy The Way Things Fall. Catch the twosome's post-millenial forays into the squeaky clean pop realm this June at The Church on York.
