Atoms for Peace, the supergroup headed up by Radiohead's Thom Yorke and the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea, are playing to big crowds at both the Hollywood and Santa Barbara Bowls this fall. This musical collaboration is largely a result of the members’ shared love for Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti, and the outcome is experimental electronica that is predictably undecipherable yet beautiful. While ticket sales likely rely on Radiohead fanatics eager for the opportunity to be in Thom Yorke’s holy presence, the live incarnation of these songs should genuinely impress.
