FKA Twigs

London alt-R&B enigma FKA Twigs is bubbling just under superstardom. Like labelmates and eschewers of capitalization the xx, Twigs makes super soulful electropop, with a sound that's lush and just as dramatic as her appearance. Expect to hear songs from her debut full-length, LP1, which debuted just last summer, including the pretty (and pretty nasty) "Two Weeks." This Localchella show was originally scheduled for the Theatre at Ace Hotel, but the gig's been moved to downtown's Belasco Theater.
